Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the development and implementation of robust budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and present findings to senior management to inform business strategy.
  4. Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with legal requirements and internal policies, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  5. Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, department heads, and external advisors to drive financial performance and support business initiatives.

Requirements

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential.
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the property management or private wealth sectors.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and strategic approach, with the ability to anticipate challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
