About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Team Member to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Team Member, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse and alcohol addiction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive engagement support and thorough assessments of individual need to maximize the likelihood of positive change occurring.
  • Act as a 'key worker' to a caseload of service users, supporting them to decide their goals around treatment and develop plans to achieve these.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions.
  • Provide assessments, risk management planning, and work closely with clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies.

Requirements

  • An understanding of substance and alcohol misuse and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis.
  • A commitment to Turning Point values and a passion for supporting individuals in recovery.
