We are currently working with a client who is seeking a Financial Systems Specialist to join their team in Central Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the company's success.

Job Overview

The Financial Systems Specialist will be responsible for designing, analysing and reviewing financial systems, practices and policies to ensure they are efficient and effective within the Business Central system. This includes journal postings, currency revaluations, bank postings and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, analyse and review financial systems, practices and policies to ensure they are fit for purpose and aligned with the company's objectives.
  2. Support the Financial Controller in ensuring that internal financial controls are robust and enforced.
  3. Analyse financial documents and related GL postings to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
  4. Review and enforce governance and controls across finance systems and processes.
  5. Post manual journals and work with the Systems team to automate this process where possible.
Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
  • Possess a high level of integrity as dealing with sensitive data.
  • Excellent data interrogation skills and advanced Excel/Power BI experience.
  • Ability to action Business Central financial administration/system configuration changes.
