Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Fellow in Urology, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Urology department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with urological conditions, including daily ward rounds, review of inpatient referrals, outpatient clinics, and theatre lists.
- Work closely with our team of consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development of our Urology department, including participating in research initiatives, clinical governance, and education and training programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective coverage of colleagues' periods of annual leave and short-term sickness.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior medical staff and contribute to teaching, examination, and accreditation duties.
- Basic Medical degree and full GMC registration.
- MRCS or equivalent higher surgical qualification.
- National Health Service experience in outpatient clinics, operating theatre lists, and ward rounds.
- Relevant postgraduate or higher university research degree (desirable).
- Previous middle-grade experience and Urology experience (desirable).
