Job Title: Food and Beverage Operations Manager

Department: Food and Beverage

Reporting To: Resort and Deputy Resort Managers

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at LQ Resorts. As a key member of our senior resort team, you will be responsible for leading all food and beverage departments across the resort, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining positive financial returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of food and beverage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that all food and beverage departments operate within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that all food and beverage departments are operating to the highest standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
