About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Catering Team Leader to join our team at Bawdsey Manor, a stunning activity centre in Suffolk. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Catering Assistants to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Catering Assistants to ensure the dining room is clean and inviting, the food is tasty and appealing, and our guests are happy and well looked after.
  • Assist and engage with our guests, using great interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective food safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Work closely with the Front of House Manager to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between teams.
Requirements
  • Three or more months of experience in a catering role, with a Level 3 or above qualification in Food Safety.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Confidence in handling complex dietary and allergen requirements, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
