Job Title: Swimming Instructor

At Messiah College, we are seeking a skilled and patient Swimming Instructor to teach swim lessons to children between 3 and 17 years old. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment, demonstrating various swimming skills, and advancing students through the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taught swim lessons to children between 3 and 17 years old.
  • Maintained accurate attendance records and communicated with parents regarding scheduling conflicts.
  • Developed and implemented lesson plans that met the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborated with colleagues to advance student progress and achieve program goals.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience teaching children aged 3-17 years old.
  • Knowledge of water safety and swimming techniques.
  • A competitive swimming background or Water Safety Instructor certification is preferred.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
