Job Overview

Main Responsibilities

  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and research in occupational therapy to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Hold a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience: Have experience working in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of the role of an Occupational Therapist in this context.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Person Specification
  • Essential Criteria: Hold a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy, have experience working in a mental health setting, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable Criteria: Have experience working in low secure or rehabilitation settings, and possess knowledge of Psychosocial Interventions and the stress vulnerability model.
