Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Operations Manager to join our team at the Royal Air Force. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the operational support functions needed for the RAF's flying tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement flight plans to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Provide expert advice on flight safety and risk management
  • Supervise and mentor teams of Flight Operations Assistants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
Requirements
  • Previous military experience within Flight Operations, with a minimum rank of SNCO
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on safety and risk management
