About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Design Solutions Expert to join our team at M Group Services Limited T/A Magdalene Limited.

The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of best practice in design methodology, Telco business processes and frameworks (eTOM or ITIL) used to deliver complex solutions. Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software such as Visio and Autocad is also required.

A competitive salary of £62,500 - £77,500 per annum is on offer, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 4% matched pension scheme, 2 x salary life assurance, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop low-latency sub-rate services including V & X data, Voice Frequency and Optical Tele protection (IEEE C37.94)
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new network and telecommunications technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet customer requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in dealing with SME or larger customers in a technical, solution design or consultancy role
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to present, leverage and influence internal stakeholders and customers
