About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team in Northallerton. As a key member of our shop team, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our store, working closely with the Shop Manager to manage donations, organise displays and merchandising, coordinate stock deliveries and collections, and handle cash with care.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage donations and maintain a high-quality store environment
  • Organise displays and merchandising to maximise sales
  • Coordinate stock deliveries and collections
  • Handle cash and maintain accurate records
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of volunteers

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a retail environment, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, friendly attitude. You should also have strong computer and administrative skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly, including weekends and occasional lone shifts.
