Railway Service Transition Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Railway Service Transition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to manage the Service Design & Transition element of Projects & Programs, introducing new or changed Services into live operation and retiring old services.
Your key responsibilities will include managing the early life support period, facilitating a graceful handover to the operational support owners, and communicating any risks and issues affecting the support organisation to the Project Manager. You will also be required to create and publish agreed service artefacts such as Service Definition, Service Level Agreement and Service Catalogue entry.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in Service Management, preferably aligned to the ITIL framework. You will also need good stakeholder management skills and experience, as well as a good understanding and experience of using service management tools.
This is a unique opportunity to work in an exciting environment where Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) are not just buzzwords but the driving force behind every operation, every decision, and every solution. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a salary estimate of £60,000 - £80,000 per year.
