Special Needs Learning Support Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide support to students in the SEN and Mental Health sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build on your experience, working alongside therapists, SEN specialists, and Mental Health professionals while making a significant impact on the lives of students.

The successful candidate will support students with diverse learning needs, particularly those with Autism, focusing on key academic and personal development.

This is a fantastic chance to collaborate with professionals in the SEN and Mental Health fields, including therapists and specialists. The role requires prior experience as a SEN Learning Support Assistant, especially with students with Autism and/or mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with diverse learning needs, focusing on academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with professionals in the SEN and Mental Health fields.
  • Play a key role in improving the lives of children, offering support that fosters purpose and development.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a SEN Learning Support Assistant, especially with students with Autism and/or mental health needs.
  • A strong passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.

Role Details:

  • Position: Experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant
  • Students: 55 students in small classes of 6-8 based on ability
  • Salary: £23,000 - £25,500 per annum (based on 37 hours per week)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Location: Luton
