About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at Mears. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks across our portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of properties, working from job to job on a planned route.
  • Use your trade skills and experience to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently, to meet the needs of our residents and customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Hold a trade qualification and have experience in multiple trades, including joinery, plumbing, tiling, plastering, decorating, and external works such as fencing, building, and bricklaying.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Be a great team player with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
