Job Description

Job Title: Safety Trainer - Confined Spaces Specialist

Company: Consult

Location: Oldham and regional travel

Contract Type: Initial 12-month contract with extension

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health and Safety Trainer who has previous experience working in confined spaces. Our client is a global company with a reputable training portfolio that operates in over 100 countries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-house and off-site training in Oldham with some travel (approx. 20%)
  • Ensure all training materials and courses meet safety standards and regulatory requirements

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Delivery of training to meet course objectives using diverse teaching methods
  • Understanding legislation and principles of risk assessment
  • Inspection and maintenance of training equipment
  • GWO/EUSR/MATS instructing experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Training experience required and ideally a PTLLS qualification or equivalent
  • Safety Training Instructors must be physically fit and a health screening certificate will be requested/or can be arranged
