You will act as Technical Lead for control, protection, and communication systems issues, liaising with Siemens Energy and other consultants, to resolve any emerging issues promptly and effectively. Additionally, you will manage and develop relationships with a diverse range of contractors, consultants, and other electricity sector stakeholders.

Effective technical communication with senior management and colleagues, industry leaders, and regulatory authorities is essential for this role.

Requirements

We are looking for a 3rd level education in a related discipline with 3+ years' experience within the electricity generation, power engineering, or utilities sectors. Experience in one or more of the following areas is ideal:

  • High Voltage Direct Current electricity transmission
  • High Voltage SCADA and control & protection systems
  • Programmable Logic Controllers within the energy sector
