Your opportunity to join a major player in the NI Energy Sectors and playing an important role in the management of electricity & gas assets.

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Liaison with Transmission System Operators and other stakeholders on technical issues, ensuring Grid Code compliance
  • Monitoring system performance and identification of performance issues relating to availability, reliability and power quality, through detailed analysis of available data, and investigation of control system behaviour
  • Acting as Technical Lead for control, protection and communication systems issues, liaising with Siemens Energy and other consultants, to resolve any emerging issues promptly and effectively
  • Effective management and continued development of relationships with a diverse range of contractors, consultants, and other electricity sector stakeholders
  • Confident and clear technical communication with senior management and colleagues industry leaders and regulatory authorities

What we are looking for…3rd level education in a related discipline with 3 + years’ experience within the electricity generation, power engineering or utilities sectors with experience ideally in one or more of the following:
  • High Voltage Direct Current electricity transmission
  • High Voltage SCADA and control & protection systems,
  • Programmable Logic Controllers within the energy sector

The Package:
  • A 10% bonus based on company and individual performance will come with this role.
  • Contributory pension matched up to 9.5% by the employer.
