About the Role

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading a high-performing pharmacy team. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that patients receive the best possible service and that the team is motivated and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of pharmacists and support staff to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Manage the pharmacy's inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure that they are adequate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
