About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our dedicated team at NHS.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care, while also playing a key role in the development of specialist services.

The successful candidate will have expertise in managing complex cases and will be committed to ongoing professional development.

In return, we offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements and access to cutting-edge medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert clinical leadership in the management of patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders
  • To develop and implement effective care pathways, ensuring seamless transitions between hospital and community services
  • To participate in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: Basic Medical Degree, MRCP UK or equivalent, Higher qualifications, CCT or equivalent in Diabetes/Endocrinology and GIM within 6 months of CCT date
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health Service Management principles, with experience of leading change initiatives
  • Value-Based Question: How would you ensure positive representation of NHS in your work?
