The Elderly Care Department at Medway NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Geriatrician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Consultant Geriatrician to take on the challenge of developing new models of care for frail elderly people in the community. As a key member of our Elderly Care team, you will be responsible for managing patients admitted to our Elderly Care ward and those under your care while on call for Acute Frailty.

About You:

• You must have full registration with the GMC and the ability to make decisions at a senior level.
• You should be able to participate in an Acute Frailty On-call service and work closely with existing community teams.
• You will have an outpatient workload comprising of new and follow referrals for managing complex co-morbidities.
• You should be willing to participate in teaching, research, and governance programs within the Department.

Salary and Benefits:

£90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme and annual leave.
