About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Rugby. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and project manage a varied portfolio of audit clients, including leading audit assignments
  • Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns
  • Prepare reports to be presented by Directors during client meetings
  • Converse clearly and effectively using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

The Successful Applicant
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, finalist or studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • Demonstrable audit experience within the UK practice environment
  • Solid understanding of UK audit regulations
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Sound IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and reliable, eager to progress
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
  • Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
  • Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members
