Health and Safety Manager Opportunity
A well-established global organisation in the manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead their HR team. This role reports to the Director of HR and involves maintaining health and safety compliance according to relevant legislation across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to lead the Health and Safety team and drive continuous improvement in health and safety as the company's number one priority.
As Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team, maintaining accreditation to OHSAS:18001 Health and Safety Management Systems, and reviewing the organisation's H&S policy to ensure it is delivered within the relevant scope of the OH&S management system.
You will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring emergency and response processes are sufficiently defined and periodically tested and reviewed;
- Performing root cause analysis for all reported accidents, including trend identification and legislative administration;
- Conducting full compliance audits to ensure all areas of the business are compliant with health and safety regulations.
This is a hybrid working opportunity with a salary of £50,000 per annum plus benefits.
