IT Recovery Centre Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Recovery Centre Technician to join our team at Daisy Corporate Services. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our recovery centre, providing technical support to customers, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support to customers during recovery rehearsals and live invocations, ensuring that technical issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Site Operations: Maintain the recovery centre's technical infrastructure, including air conditioning, lighting, UPS systems, and generators, to ensure they are always operational.
- Documentation: Manage all relevant documentation, including the Technical Site Guide and Site User Guide, to ensure they remain accurate and useful.
- On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support as needed, and receive a call-out allowance for the weeks you are on duty.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other recovery centre teams within the region, providing vital assistance during multiple invocations, and coordinate new service implementations, including IT and communications installations.
- Technical Expertise: Possess solid knowledge of IT and communications, with valuable client-facing experience and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate proven troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities, with a professional, flexible attitude and a hands-on approach.
- Education and Certifications: Hold relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent, and have a basic understanding of networks, switches, routers, and Windows Server.
- Driving License: Possess a valid UK driving license.
