About the Role

The school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Mentor to support students in achieving their full potential. As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students, some of whom may have special educational needs, to provide individualized support and guidance.

Your role will involve working in the classroom, small groups, or one-to-one with students to help them develop their skills and confidence. You will also contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students with special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students in developing their skills and confidence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for education and a commitment to supporting students in achieving their full potential. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable, but not essential. What is essential is your ability to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and to help students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
