Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Deaf Communication Support Worker to provide expert sign language interpretation support in a high school setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, students, and other stakeholders to ensure that all individuals have equal access to education and services.

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, and we offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) at SCQF Level 10 or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills, particularly in interpreting spoken and written English into BSL and vice versa
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and as part of a team
