Support Worker for Children with Complex Needs

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting a young client with complex health needs in their family home and escorting them to and from school.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the client with daily living tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and medication management.
- Escort the client to and from school, ensuring their safe transportation and arrival.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the client, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with the client's family and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive care plan is in place.
Requirements
- Kind and caring nature, with a strong desire to support vulnerable individuals.
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work a varied schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
