Role Description

We are seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance checks on electric overhead travelling cranes to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Conduct routine inspections of crane systems to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with customers to discuss repair and safety-related issues.
  • Utilize mobile devices to record maintenance activities and update CRM systems.
About the Role

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and involves working on-site at customer locations throughout Northamptonshire.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

A competitive basic salary of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, plus overtime and benefits package is offered.
