Job Title: Programme Director Animation

Job Summary:

The University for the Creative Arts is seeking an experienced academic to become Programme Director for our Performing Arts portfolio at our Farnham campus.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our undergraduate and postgraduate Animation courses. The successful candidate will have a good honours and postgraduate degree, professional experience, and knowledge of current educational issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and management of the Animation programme
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Manage and develop recruitment, retention, and industry engagement strategies
  • Lead and support the wider strategic activities of the School, including portfolio development and research

Requirements:

  • Good honours and postgraduate degree
  • Professional experience and knowledge of current educational issues
  • Critical understanding of the social, cultural, economic, and environmental factors influencing Performing Arts today
