Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a ARC Support Worker in Cardiff. As part of our Regional Edge of Care Service, you will work closely with young people, their families, and carers to provide flexible and responsive care packages.

The successful candidate will have experience working with adolescents who present with challenging behavior, as well as experience in working with carers and as part of a wider team. You will be required to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, and will need a driving license and full use of a car.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide structured, evidence-based interventions enabling families to develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and achieve positive change.
  • To work with young people across Cardiff at their homes and at our centres at a time of need, delivering positive outcomes.
  • To provide rapid response to children and families in crisis, enabling them to address and overcome the difficulties that have led to the family being at risk of breakdown.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [£12.97-£16.35] per hour, dependent on experience.
  • An enhanced Child and Adult DBS is required.
  • The ability to work immediately or at short notice.
