New Care is a reputable organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care services. We are seeking an experienced Care Leader to join our team at The Hamptons Care Centre, located in Lytham, St Annes. This purpose-built care home offers 76 beds and caters to residents with various care needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care.

We strive for excellence, as evident from our OUTSTANDING rating in Caring and GOOD ratings in other domains by the CQC. Our commitment to delivering high standards of safety, comfort, and care has resulted in zero agency usage for over four years, ensuring continuity of care and resident satisfaction. To achieve this, we employ a permanent staff team who receive the national living wage or above.

This role involves supporting the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager in leading the care team and managing the home effectively within available resources. A full-time contract with a competitive hourly rate of £13 is available, along with shift times from 1945-0800 and alternate weekend working.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote person-centred clinical nursing care to residents, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Manage the care team, allocate duties, and supervise their work to ensure quality delivery of care during shifts.
  • Demonstrate leadership and set a good example in person-centred care delivery.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults under your care or supervision.
  • Deliver residents' personalised care according to their agreed plan of care throughout the shift.
  • Promote professional standards within the home, supporting the Deputy and Home Manager.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Care Assistants.
  • Evaluate and maintain written care plans, ensuring effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
  • Maintain accurate records as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
