About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Priory Adult Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified staff in implementing individual resident care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities to facilitate the well-being and treatment of all residents.
  • Provide practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with intimate personal needs, ensuring such activities comply with procedures and relevant healthcare legislation.
  • Observe and monitor the well-being of residents, promptly referring any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences to senior staff or the primary nurse and documenting as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain good professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and visitors, responding promptly and courteously to requests and enquiries.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a good standard of English and be educated to SVQ 2 level or equivalent. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for this role.
