Job Opportunity at Queens View Harbour Care Home

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Queens View Harbour Care Home. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Support residents with their medication needs
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage with their surroundings
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working in a care setting
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.10
  • Contracted hours of 33 per week, with opportunities for overtime
