**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Queens View Harbour Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, adhering to health and safety guidelines
* Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
* Participate in care planning and review, contributing to the development of individualized care plans
**Requirements**
* SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
* At least 6 months experience working as a Care Assistant or equivalent role
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to delivering high-quality care, adhering to our values and standards
**What We Offer**
* Competitive hourly rate of £12.10
* Contracted hours of 33 per week, with opportunities for overtime
* 5.6 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays
