About This Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Warehouse Dispenser at Baxter.

As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe handling of products and medicines to meet Home Care order requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and action goods-in products, ensuring correct data entry and reconciliation of all receipts.
  • Store products by batch, utilizing first-expired first-out principles in compliance with temperature and storage condition requirements.
  • Pick, dispense, and dispatch products timely and accurately in accordance with the warehouse and pharmacy standard operating procedures and operational KPIs.
  • Undertake frequent compliance checks within the warehouse operations in line with Baxter Management Systems (e.g., Quality, H&S, Environment, and Operational Excellence) and external requirements (Good Warehousing Practice & General Pharmaceutical Council).
  • Escalate any operational discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor and Responsible Pharmacist.
  • Record events (e.g., incident, complaints, service issues) and assist with the investigation in accordance with the complaints procedure.
  • Manage and process all returns & waste in accordance with the warehouse and pharmacy standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing Assistant or equivalent (full training will be provided if necessary).
  • High levels of accuracy with data entry.
  • Good IT proficiency, including using warehouse management systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous hands-on operational experience in a warehouse environment and/or pharmacy environment.
  • Previous experience of working in a cold chain environment would be advantageous.
  • Successful experience in following standard operating procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Safeguarding practices (at Level 1 or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of safe manual handling practices.
