This is a critical position at Baxter, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe handling of products and medicines to meet Home Care order requirements.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and storing products in accordance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Warehouse Practice (GWP), and Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process all goods-in products, ensuring correct data entry and reconciliation of all receipts.
- Store products by batch and utilize first-expired first-out principles in compliance with temperature and storage condition requirements.
- Pick, dispense, and dispatch products timely and accurately in accordance with the warehouse and pharmacy standard operating procedures and operational KPIs.
- Undertake frequent compliance checks within the warehouse operations in line with Baxter Management Systems and external requirements.
- Escalate any operational discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor and Responsible Pharmacist.
- Record events and assist with the investigation in accordance with the complaints procedure.
- Manage and process all returns and waste in accordance with the warehouse and pharmacy standard operating procedures.
- NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing Assistant or equivalent (full training will be provided if necessary).
- High levels of accuracy with data entry.
- Good IT proficiency, including using warehouse management systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous hands-on operational experience in a warehouse environment and/or pharmacy environment.
- Previous experience of working in a cold chain environment would be advantageous.
- Successful experience in following standard operating procedures.
- Working knowledge of Safeguarding practices (at Level 1 or equivalent).
- Good knowledge of safe manual handling practices.
