About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Minerva, a leading charity providing innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support to individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.

The successful candidate will conduct specialist psychological/neuropsychological assessments, coordinate and lead care plans, and implement therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions tailored to individual needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments using various tools and methods
  • Formulating evidence-based psychological interventions and setting SMART goals with service users and the team
  • Implementing therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions, providing psychological advice to the multi-disciplinary team, and overseeing the implementation of therapeutic approaches
  • Performing risk assessments and managing psychological aspects of risk, maintaining high standards of clinical record-keeping and data collection
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality service delivery
  • Participating in local meetings, contributing a psychological perspective, and assisting in the development of clinical policies and delivery models for neuropsychology
  • Maintaining communication links with NHS, Social Services, and other relevant agencies

Requirements

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a Degree in Psychology, accepted by BPS, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent). The successful candidate must be HCPC Registered and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
