About the Role

Viberoptix Ltd is a leading provider of frontline services to fibre network providers across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a skilled Wayleave Officer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough surveys on land sites to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Examine previous records and evidence to verify data accuracy and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Liaise with members of the public and obtain necessary wayleaves to facilitate fibre network deployments.
  • Ensure the production and signing off of correct documentation.
  • Research and design methods for survey processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize equipment and tools to accurately measure land features, including longitudes and latitudes.
  • Build detailed maps, sketches, and charts to support survey results.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to field staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Report on survey results and present findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with engineers on projects to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in wayleaves or surveying in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working in a public-facing role.
  • Working knowledge of GPS and GIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savviness, including familiarity with CAD software.
  • Aptitude in math and problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Great organizational and leadership skills.
  • Full valid driver's license.
