Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Learning Tutor to work with us on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on client discretion. This role involves delivering accredited courses using schemes of work, session plans, and a variety of teaching methods to support learners.


Key Responsibilities:



  • To plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality educational content, including individual learning plans and supporting materials.
  • Work closely with the project officer to create engaging marketing materials and provide information to learners about the course.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to teaching, such as enrolment forms, registers, and course evaluations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • To conduct venue assessments to ensure Disability Discrimination Act and Health and Safety compliance.
  • To provide a thorough induction to learners at the beginning of each course.

Requirements:



  • The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge and skills in education, with excellent personal and social skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work confidently across designated curriculum areas.

  • Candidates should be available to start immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
