Job Description

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Lincolnshire to fill a Family Learning Tutor position on a 3-month contract, which may be extended at the client's discretion.

Hours per week: 10
Rate of Pay: £17.53 - £21.97 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, prepare, and deliver accredited courses using schemes of work, session plans, and various methods and approaches to support learning, including providing learners with a Learning Diary (LD), individual learning plan (ILP), or personal learner record (PLR).
  • Collaborate with the allocated project officer to provide written information for all publicity/marketing purposes. Offer guidance and advice to learners at the beginning and end of each course.
  • To accurately complete and submit administrative paperwork related to teaching organisation, including enrolment forms, registers, completion/achievement data, course folders, course evaluations, and other statistical information as required.
  • Carry out Disability Discrimination Act and Health and Safety checks on venues prior to commencing courses.
  • To ensure all learners receive a proper induction to their course.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • The post holder will possess advanced knowledge, expertise, and skills in education.
  • Excellent personal and social skills, communication skills, and the ability to work confidently across designated curriculum areas are essential.
