Job Description

Position Overview:

IKL Recruitment Services is seeking a highly analytical and driven Growth Equity Investment Analyst to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to work closely with seasoned professionals in Growth equity and venture capital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis: Perform comprehensive market research, competitive landscape analysis, and industry assessments to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and perform valuation analyses: Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate the financial performance and valuation of potential investments, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Assist in due diligence processes: Support the due diligence process by analyzing financial statements, conducting market and competitive analysis, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare investment materials: Develop high-quality investment memos, presentations, and reports to be presented to the Investment Committee, providing clear and concise investment rationales and recommendations.
  • Monitor and support portfolio companies: Assist in the ongoing monitoring and reporting of portfolio company performance, analyzing financial and operational metrics, and supporting value creation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with senior team members and colleagues across functions to support various projects, transactions, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
