Position Overview

Zeno Investment Partners is seeking a dedicated Equity Research Analyst to join our innovative team. This role is essential in supporting our equity investment strategies and will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders within the organization.

The Equity Research Analyst will play a crucial role in fostering independent idea generation through thorough data examination and insightful market research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Research: Partner with essential team members to establish analytical objectives and delineate specific requirements.
  • Data Oversight: Systematically gather and scrutinize data from multiple sources, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and reliability.
  • Analytical Insights: Utilize statistical methodologies and data mining techniques to discover significant insights and market trends.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop and sustain detailed dashboards, reports, and visual representations to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Clear Communication: Effectively convey findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision in all communications.

Specific Duties:

  • Sector Focus: Analysts will concentrate on specific thematic or sectoral areas, with an emphasis on adaptability and growth in focus areas.
  • Primary Research Focus: The firm prioritizes primary research. Analysts will receive support for extensive travel (when necessary) and comprehensive channel research. Direct engagement with companies is highly encouraged.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Responsible for the meticulous collection and organization of data, conducting statistical analyses, and producing impactful reports and visualizations.
  • Innovative Stock Selection: We value creative and unconventional approaches to stock selection. Each analyst's contributions will significantly influence their performance-based rewards, irrespective of their inclusion in the investment portfolio.

All candidates must possess the right to live and work in the UK and have a minimum of two years of experience as an equity analyst or researcher, with prior buy-side experience being essential.
