Role: Equity Sector Data Analyst

As an integral part of our equity fundamental research team, you will play a key role in generating data-driven insights to inform investment strategies. You will collaborate closely with various departments within the firm to share your findings and contribute to a dynamic intellectual environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop insightful analyses based on complex datasets to support fundamental research initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams across the organization to disseminate research findings and foster knowledge sharing.
  • Design and implement quantitative models, including KPIs, hypothesis testing frameworks, and screening tools, to evaluate market opportunities.
  • Deepen your understanding of fundamental analysis methodologies and contribute to the development of data-driven variables that enhance our investment strategies.
  • Continuously explore new datasets, create customized dashboards, and conduct data-driven studies to identify emerging trends and insights.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or computer science.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing complex datasets, with a preference for experience in alternative data research.
  • Familiarity with fundamental analysis principles and methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate in a global team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
