Are you looking for a challenging role that requires physical stamina and good time management skills? As a Postal Delivery Worker, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers in the Banff area.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Sorting and Collecting Mail: Start your day by sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered to customers.
  • Customer Signatures: Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Daily Mileage: Walk at least 8 miles per day, carrying a post bag, delivering letters and parcels.
  • Driving and On Foot Deliveries: Drive a vehicle and deliver mail on foot, using a post trolley during deliveries.

Requirements include a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points, previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential, as well as strong communication and customer service abilities. The role also requires a commitment to safe and responsible driving practices. Working outdoors in all weathers is required, including weekends.

The estimated salary for this role is £17.00 - £18.50 per hour, based on location and experience.
