The successful candidate will be required to work on an as-and-when-required basis, covering early, late, and night shifts.

**Job Description**

This role involves providing care and support to service users within a very sheltered housing facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with service users, and demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery.

The post holder will be responsible for demonstrating a flexible approach to working hours, including day, evening, and night shifts. This includes being available to work at short notice, covering leave, and participating in emergency call-outs if required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess relevant experience in a care setting, ideally in a sheltered housing environment. You should also hold a valid PVG Scheme membership or be willing to undergo one prior to commencement.

The preferred candidate will be expected to register with the SSSC within six months of employment. Additionally, you will need to provide two professional references, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.

**Benefits**

Aberdeenshire Council offers a competitive salary of £21,895 per annum (pro rata) for this role. This figure may be subject to change based on individual circumstances.

In addition to your salary, you can expect a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, paid annual leave, and a contributory pension scheme.

**Working Conditions**

This post is regulated under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. As such, the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to commencement.
