Developmental Support Specialist

Barnet Mencap is a leading provider of services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autistic individuals in the London Borough of Barnet.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Autism Advisor, working within our well-established and successful Autism Service for adults with high functioning autism.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing information, advice, and guidance to Hub members, ensuring they receive appropriate support via workshops and groups.
As an Autism Advisor, you will work closely with our passionate and diverse team to deliver a waiting well service that meets the unique needs of each individual.
This role requires a focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion, with a commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of people with autism.
A salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) reflects the importance of this position and the value we place on our staff.
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 30 days annual leave, TOIL system for flexible working, travel expenses reimbursement, and auto-enrolment into a pension scheme with employer contributions.
