About the Role

We are partnering with a school in Barnet seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Psychology graduate to join their team as an SEN Support Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists, gaining invaluable experience in a SEND setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students' learning.
  • Have a calming and nurturing nature around vulnerable children.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students, guaranteeing a safe environment for all children.
Requirements

To be successful in this SEN Support Assistant role, you will need:

  • A minimum 2:1 Psychology related degree from a top 20 UK university.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is very desirable.
