Job Summary
This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team as a Machine Learning Engineer. You will focus on technical work surrounding simulation and optimisation, building real-time pictures/data sets and issuing recommendations based on findings. This role involves working on a simulator to reproduce real-time events, predicting and capturing future demand, and maximising resources for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build network state models to provide an understanding of the network in real-time
  • Develop a transit time model to examine historical data and uncover real-time system dynamics through live components
  • Predictive modelling to predict passenger flow

Requirements
This role requires proven experience in optimisation and/or simulation, a strong background in classical ML, at least 3 years of experience, and an MSc or PhD in a strong STEM subject.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (hybrid working arrangement available)
