Community Healthcare Assistant

Location: Wiltshire

Shifts: Days Nights Monday to Friday

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled healthcare assistant to join our team in Wiltshire. As an 'Outstanding' CQC-rated care provider, we deliver high-quality care and support to our clients in the community.

We are looking for a healthcare assistant with at least 12 months of UK-based experience to work with a male client with Flaccid Quadriplegia. The successful candidate will utilise their expertise, skills, and knowledge to enable our clients to achieve their personal goals, learn new hobbies, and live as independently as possible.

Role Requirements:

We are looking for a healthcare assistant with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who is passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. The successful candidate will require the following key skills:

  • Care of Tracheostomies and Ventilators
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Administration of nebulisers via ventilation
  • Personal care
  • Manual Handling
  • A valid UK driving licence
