Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at AutoSkills UK in Maidstone. This is a 5-day working position with the opportunity for overtime paid at time and a half.
About the Role:
This HGV Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 3 qualification in HGV/LCV Mechanics or equivalent, as well as experience working as an HGV, PSV, or LCV Technician. A full UK driving licence is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tyre replacements
• Carry out repairs and diagnostics on HGVs and other commercial vehicles
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard and meets health and safety regulations
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve business objectives
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including overtime paid at time and a half and opportunities for professional development.
