Project Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead our Data Centre team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering large-scale, ground-up data centre construction projects with prominent technology clients across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising at a strategic level on project conception, including providing advice on approaches to achieve client objectives;
  • Establishing project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters;
  • Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues;
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems;
  • Project planning, including producing a detailed project plan;
  • Leading and facilitating the cross-functional project team;
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including KPIs;
  • Monitoring and advising on project finances;
  • Managing project information flow between the team and client;
  • Ensuring formal project progress and other reports are produced;
  • Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages;
  • Staff management and knowledge management;
  • Financial management, including prompt client invoicing and FMS monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Construction consultancy experience preferred;
  • Minimum 3-7 years project management experience, preferably in digital/data centres;
  • Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture;
  • Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle;
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of project management concepts, tools, and techniques;
  • Design, management, or construction experience in general construction, ideally residential, office, fit-outs, and health & education.
